Celebrating a new milestone in Carbonear!

If these walls could talk, they’d tell stories of wicked weather, music and laughter. They’d tell stories of the generations whose feet crept down the stairs in the early morning light while boats waited to head to the fishing grounds. They’d tell you of the babies welcomed within them and celebrate that new life has been found here again.

As the spring rain fell and the wild Atlantic wind blew, a new baby arrived earthside to join their family — attended by AMNL members working in Carbonear. As they tucked their first out-of-hospital birth family into bed, the sun peeked out of the clouds; another story to be told by these walls.

And in that quiet moment, you could almost feel the past and present meet — held together by care, community, and new beginnings.
