Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador is a new midwifery program. This is an incredible opportunity to have a profound impact on this community, surrounding communities, and the coast of Labrador. Collaborate with Indigenous partners, including the Innu Round Table Secretariat’s new community-based Innu-led midwifery education programs in Sheshatshiu and Natuashish.
The Central Health Midwifery Practice is located in Gander, Newfoundland and was established in 2019. They are currently seeking another midwife to join their team with a goal to have 4 in the practice.
The Carbonear/rural Eastern Practice is located in Carbonear, NL. The goal is to have 4 midwives in place.
